Stipends

Lastinger Learning partners with the Florida Department of Education to provide monetary stipends for certain Lastinger Learning programs upon completion.

Learners are encouraged to apply for their stipend as early as possible. Once available, the stipend application can be completed at any time throughout the course of the program. Please refer to the stipend application pages below to check the guidelines to see if you are eligible to receive a stipend and apply.

For most stipend applications, you will need to have relevant information on hand, including address, social security number, personal and Lastinger Learning emails, DCF number, Genius Learner ID, and some stipends require a recent pay stub.

Lastinger Learning CDA® Pathways

Stipend Code: LSTP-26-005-ECE

$2,000 completion stipend for eligible participants awarded in two increments:

Progress Stipend: $600 after completion of term 2 which ends on January 6, 2026
Completion Stipend: $1400 after completion of term 4 which ends on June 9, 2026

This stipend is available for learners completing the Lastinger Learning CDA Pathway in English and Spanish.*

Stipend Deadlines

Literacy Micro-Credentials

Literacy Micro-Credential stipend applications must be submitted within 30 days of course completion and no later than June 1, 2026, whichever comes first. Learners are encouraged to apply for their stipend as early as possible.

A reminder for all Literacy Micro-Credential applicants that, at this time:
• Stipends are only available for Literacy Micro-Credential programs officially ending after July 1, 2025.
• Learners can only earn one (1) stipend for completing one of the three Literacy Micro-Credentials (Emergent, Elementary, or Secondary).
• Learners who have already received one (1) Micro-Credential stipend, will not receive another stipend. Those who have been previously paid a Literacy Micro-Credential stipend for courses will not be eligible to receive a second stipend for the completion of an additional Literacy Micro-Credential.
• Literacy Micro-Credential applications must be submitted within 30 days of course completion and no later than June 1, 2026. Applications will close for new submissions at midnight on June 1, 2026. Applications will be reviewed in the order they were received. Stipends are dependent upon budget availability.

Literacy Matrix

Literacy Matrix stipends applications must be submitted within 30 days of course completion and no later than June 1, 2026, whichever comes first. Learners are encouraged to apply for their stipend as early as possible.

Math Matrix Micro-Credential

Math Matrix Micro-Credential stipend applications must be submitted within 30 days of course completion and no later than May 29, 2026.

Literacy Coach Endorsement

Literacy Coach Endorsement stipends applications must be submitted within 30 days of course completion and no later than June 1, 2026, whichever comes first. Learners are encouraged to apply for their stipend as early as possible.

Lastinger Learning CDA® Pathways

Learners must submit their stipend application to the Lastinger Center within 30 days of course completion or June 1, 2026; whichever occurs first. This means participants must apply for the $600.00 Progress Stipend by February 6, 2026 and apply for the $1400.00 Completion stipend by June 1, 2026.

Early Childhood Online Courses: Fall 2025

Fall term Early Childhood Online Course stipends applications must be submitted within 30 days of course completion and no later than December 11, 2026, whichever comes first. Learners are encouraged to apply for their stipend as early as possible.
