The Lastinger Learning Early Childhood “Supporting Learning in Preschool Classrooms” course provides preschool teachers with strategies designed to improve classroom instruction.

The Supporting Learning in Preschool Classrooms course is a free online, asynchronous course made up of five modules.

Eligible Participants

The Supporting Learning in Preschool Classrooms course is free and offered to School Readiness & VPK providers in Florida. The target audience for this course includes the following working to support preschool classrooms:

Educators
Family child care providers
Directors
Owners
Program leaders

Format

The SLP course is online and asynchronous. The five modules include:

Supporting Children as They Develop Concepts
Incorporating Effective Feedback
Nurturing and Supporting Language Development
Mastery

$125 completion stipend for eligible participants
1.0 CEU (10 instructional hours)

Timeline

Educators participating in the VPK POP program should apply by October 24. The term runs November 10, 2025 – January 12, 2026.
