Stipends
Lastinger Learning partners with the Florida Department of Education to provide monetary stipends for certain Lastinger Learning programs upon completion.
Learners are encouraged to apply for their stipend as early as possible. Once available, the stipend application can be completed at any time throughout the course of the program. Please refer to the stipend application pages below to check the guidelines to see if you are eligible to receive a stipend and apply.
For most stipend applications, you will need to have relevant information on hand, including address, social security number, personal and Lastinger Learning emails, DCF number, Lastinger Learning ID, FDOE Educator Certificate Number, and some stipends require a recent pay stub.
Note: UF anticipates moving to a new participant payment system in 2027. Participants whose payments are issued in 2027 should be aware that current payment options and procedures may change. Please refer to the latest instructions provided by our stipends team.

Emergent Literacy Micro-Credential
Stipend Code: LSTP-27-011-LIT
$1,000 completion stipend for eligible early child care personnel and eligible early learning staff.
This stipend is available for learners completing the Emergent Literacy Micro-Credential.*
Elementary Literacy Micro-Credential
Stipend Code: LSTP-27-012-LIT
$1,000 completion stipend for eligible K12 instructional personnel and select administrative personnel. (Public Schools and Districts Only)
This stipend is available for learners completing the Elementary Literacy Micro-Credential or Competency 1 of the Literacy Matrix.*
Secondary Literacy Micro-Credential
Stipend Code: LSTP-27-013-LIT
$1,000 completion stipend for eligible K12 instructional personnel and select administrative personnel. (Public Schools and Districts Only)
This stipend is available for learners completing the Secondary Literacy Micro-Credential or Competency 1 of the Literacy Matrix.*
Literacy Matrix
Stipend Code: LSTP-27-014-LIT
$2,000 completion stipend for eligible K12 instructional personnel and select administrative personnel. (Public Schools and Districts Only) who are applying for their Reading Endorsement.
This stipend is available for learners completing Competencies 2 – 5 of the Literacy Matrix if completed after 7/1/2026.
Literacy Coach Endorsement (Lastinger Pathway)

$1,000 completion stipend for eligible K12 instructional personnel and select administrative personnel. (Public Schools and Districts Only)
This stipend is available for learners completing the Literacy Coach Endorsement.*
Math Matrix Micro-Credential
Stipend Code: LSTP-27-001-MTH
$1,000 completion stipend for successful completion of courses.
This stipend is available for learners completing the Math Matrix Micro-Credential.*

Elementary Advanced Math Matrix Micro-Credential

$1,000 completion stipend for successful completion of courses (Part 1 & 2).

Lastinger Learning CDA® Pathways
Stipend Code: LSTP-27-005-ECE
$2,000 completion stipend for eligible participants awarded in two increments:
- Progress Stipend: $800 after completion of term 2
- Completion Stipend: $1,200 after completion of term 4
This stipend is available for learners completing the Lastinger Learning CDA Pathway in English and Spanish.*
Early Childhood Online Courses
Stipend Code: LSTP-27-001-ECE
$250 completion stipend for eligible participants.
This stipend is available for learners completing any of the Fall 2026 Early Childhood course offerings.*
Blended Early Childhood CoP Stipend
Stipend Code: LSTP-27-003-ECE
An extra $50 completion stipend for eligible participants. The total $300 stipend for your CoP Blended Early Childhood course is distributed in 2 parts:
Payment 1: Apply for the $250 stipend in the Early Childhood Online Courses – Fall 2025 or Spring 2026 Stipend Application.

Supporting Learning in Preschool Classrooms

This stipend is available for learners completing: Supporting Learning in Preschool Classrooms (English/Haitian Creole)
$125 completion stipend for eligible participants.
