Applying early helps ensure that your application is processed in a timely manner, so you should apply for the stipend as soon as possible. In order to be eligible for the stipend, learners must apply for the stipend within 30 days of course completion and no later than June 1, 2026, whichever comes first. Learners are encouraged to apply for their stipend as early as possible.
Processing times can vary. Completed applications are processed in the order they are received. Stipend distribution cannot take place until after the official course end date, grading period has ended, final grade posted, successful mastery completion, and submitting an accurate stipend application. We cannot provide specific timelines for individual applications or details on the status of other learners’ applications.
We cannot make exceptions to the eligibility criteria or requirements, including missed application deadlines. Please ensure all criteria are met and deadlines are adhered to.
Learners can only earn one Literacy Micro-Credential stipend. Learners who have previously earned a Literacy Micro-Credential stipend will not be eligible to receive a second stipend for the completion of an additional Literacy Micro-Credential. Enrollment prioritizes learners who have not previously completed a Literacy Micro-Credential or previously earned a Literacy Micro-Credential stipend. Learners in this category are encouraged to explore other stipend eligible programs, like the Literacy Matrix, the Math Matrix Micro-Credential, or others.
