This program prepares participants to effectively facilitate professional learning experiences through collaborative tools and processes.

Program Overview

The UF Lastinger Center’s Community of Practice Facilitator Institute provides participants with an understanding of how to facilitate adult learners through collaborative tools and high-quality, job-embedded professional learning. Guided by the Lastinger Community of Practice framework, this program teaches current or aspiring facilitators how to:

Give and receive feedback effectively
Engage in reflective conversations
Analyze successes and challenges
Implement collaborative tools and processes to support practice

For New or Aspiring Facilitators

CoP Institutes

Early Childhood professionals who would like to become a Lastinger Certified CoP Facilitator can complete a three-day Institute.

Format

Institutes are in-person or online for three days.

For Lastinger Certified Facilitators

CoP Calibrations

Lastinger Certified facilitators maintain their certification and deepen their facilitation skills through the CoP Calibrations. Participants attend one CoP Calibration per year to maintain their Lastinger certified facilitator status.

Format

Calibrations are offered in-person or virtually.
